Milk and Cookies Game Review and Giveaway

I contacted Peaceable Kingdom Press and asked if they would be interested in sponsoring a review and giveaway. Donna responded I'd love to have Peaceable Kingdom Press participate in a review and giveaway. Do you have a specific product in mind? I chose the Milk and Cookies Spin & Go Board Game it is a simple counting & color recognition game. It also helps little man learn about taking turns. Ozzy isn't the greatest at taking turns.  But he did do good taking turns while playing Milk and Cookies with his Aunt Terra. Ozzy also got a surprise with his game 2 sticker packs. I thought this was very nice.

As I mentioned before this game was very simple and fun. You have a cookie jar marker that you move on the board. The spin board has colors with different numbers on them. First you spin and then move your cookie jar marker forwards, backwards, side to side or diagonal according to the number and color you get. You then pick up the tile you landed on and replace it with a tile from the draw pile. Then the other player(s) take a turn. If you spin and get a Milk then you get to pick a milk tile off the game board and take another turn. If you spin and get a  Cookie Crumble you don't get to do anything, this is like a lose turn spin. When Ozzy spinned and got cookie crumble I thought he would be mad and be done with the game. But the Milk and Cookie Game was to much fun to quit. If you spin and get a Cookie Craze then all players get to choose a cookie tile. When you run out of tiles in the draw pile the game is over. Each player counts their tiles and which ever player has the most wins. If there is a tie then the player with the most milk tiles wins.

I guess you are wondering who won the game between Ozzy and Aunt Terra. Ozzy did. They each had the same amount of cookie tiles but Terra only had 1 milk tile and Ozzy had 2. Yeah, Ozzy!

How to Play:

To start, players open the board and lay out the tiles in any random way, leaving the center space open. Players each choose a cookie jar marker and place it in the center of the board. Spin the spinner, move your marker and collect a tile. Get a milk carton, go again! Collect and replace tiles until one player wins! For a more challenging game, set up the board the same way, only each player chooses 1 or 2 types of cookies to collect. It’s a more complex version for kids 6+ who are ready for a bit of a challenge and don’t mind if their cookie crumbles!
