My grandma went to Heaven Friday night about 11:30. Grandma had a beautiful life. Grandma, I know you lived your life to go to Heaven and now you are with Grandpa again. Even though you lived to be 90 some, we were not ready for you to leave us. I have had this same picture in my mind all weekend. You have your hair done like the photo above. you are wearing a yellow dress with little white flowers and you and grandpa are in a field of tulips. I wish I would have gotten to say goodbye, but God had his plans. Wednesday will be one of the hardest days of my life, when we lay your body to rest. But you and Grandpa taught me so much about Heaven that I know your spirit has goe to Heaven and only your body remains. Please tell Grandpa and my daddy I love them. But they already know right. Now we also have you to be an angel and guide us. I love and miss you so much already. I know one day I will see you all in Heaven but until that day, I know you will be looking down from Heaven and be proud of who I am. XOXOXO~Traci

That was a very touching post, it brought tears to my eyes. I too just lost my great grandma and on Thursday we are saying goodbye to her and I just know I will not be able to handle it very well at all (oh my gosh fully crying now) So sorry, my thoughts are with you and your family.

ReplyDeleteWOW 90 years old. Your Grandma had some genes. I hope she lived her life to the fullest. I loved the cute picture of your grandma and grandpa. I hope you are comforted that they are now together in heaven. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
