Wordful Wednesday

We had a blast at camp this weekend. On Saturday we took a golf cart caravan to Mendon. The skies were sunny and bright.
The golf carts lined up getting ready for the adventure. 21 in all.

The ride was nice and the view along the road was pretty.

We pulled up along side some of  a campground buddies to get a photo. About the time I said say cheese the wind lifted my dress, just like Marilyn Monroe. I think that's maybe why I got such a big smile out of them.

More campers on the caravan.

Little man enjoying the breeze and the ride.

Here are the golf carts all lined up in front of North Side Bar and Grill. They served us a great buffet. Chicken, Roast Beef, Frog Legs (Not sure about these, look alot like the frogs we see at camp), salad, veggies, rolls and dessert.

Then the story changes to a rather wet one. When it was time to get ready to head back to camp Mother Nature fooled us all with one heck of a storm. For awhile we thought we might have to get trailers and haul the carts back to camp, as the police said the visibility was too bad to block the interstate so we could get back across it. But then the rain did let up a little and we got to go back.

So with our designer rain gear we sat off for camp.

We were havin' fun now.

After we returned to camp we were going to have a Luau, so Jason and I dressed the part.

Don't we look GOOD!!
Things kinda got a little wild at the Luau
Jason decided to give our campground activity director a special little dance.

After all the fun we had Saturday we decided Sunday would be a good day to relax and play in the pool.

Me and little man.

Little man and Aunt Terra. Ozzy is getting pretty good at swimming.

Well Terra and I got tried as swimming always does to me and decided to try and get a nappy in.

The nap didn't go over so well because Rod (hubby) and Jason (Terra's hubby) thought it would be a good idea for Ozzy to wet us down with the water gun. It was so hot it actually felt good.

I couldn't leave the guys out.

  6. This looks like such a fun time! I wish we had people with golf carts around here for a ride like that. We normally do it once per year at the beach, but it's a shame to only have that much fun once.
