An Email I got Jail and Nursing Homes
I thought this was interesting and thought I would share
Jails and Nursing Homes
Here's the way it should be:
Let's put the seniors in jail and the criminals in nursing homes..
This would correct two things in one motion:
Seniors would have access to showers, hobbies and walks.
They would receive unlimited free prescriptions, dental and medical treatment, wheel chairs, etc.
They would receive money instead of having to pay it out.
They would have constant video monitoring, so they would be helped instantly if they fell or needed assistance.
Bedding would be washed twice a week and all clothing would be ironed and returned to them.
A guard would check on them every 20 minutes.
All meals and snacks would be brought to them
They would have family visits in a suite built for that purpose.
They would have access to a library, weight/fitness room, spiritual counseling, a pool and education...and free admission to in-house concerts by nationally recognized entertainment artists.
Simple clothing - i.e.., shoes, slippers, pj's - and legal aid would be free, upon request.
There would be private, secure rooms provided for all with an outdoor exercise yard complete with gardens.
Each senior would have a P.C., T.V., phone and radio in their room at no cost.
They would receive daily phone calls.
There would be a board of directors to hear any complaints and the ACLU would fight for their rights and protection.
The guards would have a code of conduct to be strictly adhered to, with attorneys available, at no charge to protect the seniors and their families from abuse or neglect.
As for the criminals :
They would receive cold food.
They would be left alone and unsupervised.
They would receive showers once a week.
They would live in tiny rooms, for which they would have to pay $5,000 per month.
They would have no hope of ever getting out.
Hmmm What do you think???

Wordy or not so Wordy Wednesday (with Linky)
>Better late than not at all. I still can't see worth a crap but I am gonna see what I can do. I will be good as new this afternoon, eye appt today.
Here are my pictures from Christmas. I took 77 but thought that was way to many to share so here are 18.
Little man made out like a bandit. Here he is Christmas morning with his gifts from Santa. he's not spoiled as he would say "I don't smell yucky". He is just loved maybe too much when it comes to gifts. Santa couldn't stop.
Little man really wanted a paint ball gun. I told him he had to be 10 but Santa said with daddy's supervirion it would be ok. I wonder how many windows mommy is gonna get to pay for.
Santa brought Ozzy a sled. I really hate the cold, but little man needed someone to play in the snow so here we are. After the sled right we made snow angels and had a snow ball fight. Fun!! Gotta love it.
Daddy and Little man shooting the paint ball gun. Our garage is now an abstract work of art. A tag is in our near future.
This is the living room Christmas night when the older kids and grand babies came over for Christmas. It was a huge present explosion.
Notice the show on TV, A Christmas Story, our older son loves it.
The cornish hens were a big hit.
Faythe looks like she is half scared of it.
My big boy was very happy he loves the cornish hens. He is the only one that can eat the whole thing. Everyone takes their leftovers home for a snacky.
This is our oldest daughter Jamie and her family. Hubby Chad, Alec and Mady
Our middle child, no more. Ashley her boyfriend Tyler and Faythe. They might as well be married they act like an old married couple. Tyler and Ashley have been together since Feb 07.
Little man. One day he will have a wife and kiddos too. But lets not rush it. I love him being little.
Justin, Yolanda, Imani and baby Ayala
Mom, Grandma, Grammy or as Peanut says Grandma Antsy.
Mom's name is Nancy and Peanut(Faythe can't quite say it.) She also has a Grandma Piggy or Peggy.
Baby Ayala (Christmas Eve)
Justin is a fan of Christmas Story. Yes that is a bar of soap just like the one Ralphie got to put in his mouth , he also got a 4inch x 4inch piece of the original house. He set the Christmas Story gift shop to my fave so he would be sure to get some stuff from there. I only paid $19.99 for the wood. Crazy I know. But he sure was happy.

Cornish hen. Years ago I started a tradtion with my kiddos including the cat where everyone got their very own cornish hen. It was too funny the other night little man saw the cornish hens in the fridge and he just couldn't believe all the baby turkeys. It was tooo cute.
16. Lights on the tree?
Yes, multicolored. I love all the different colors.
17. Favorite Christmas song?
Rudolof
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home?
We stay home. Everyone comes to our house. Yeah.
Years ago we traveled everywhere and the kids didn't have time to enjoy their gifts so we decided we would host all the dinners so the kiddos could stay home.
19. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer?
Probably not but I shall try.
Rudoff
Comet
Vixen
Donnor
Cupid
Ok I can't

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning?
Christmas Eve we have a family gift exchange
Christmas Morning little man will open his gifts from Santa
And Christmas evening our older kiddos and grand babies come over for their gifts from Santa and each other.
Sounds like a lot of gifts.
22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year?

I love all the beautiful colors
